Encore opened its doors in Glendora California in 1984
with the objective of offering our students an excellent foundation in dance. Our goal is to give our
students a positive and rewarding dance experience by teaching exceptional technique and creativity. Encore
employs several professional Los Angeles trained teachers and choreographers who are highly respected in the dance industry.
Encore Performing Arts
is a technical dance school, we do not do competitions. Our students have gone on to attend performing
arts schools and colleges of the Arts, as well as performed in many outside city musical productions, dance companies, music
and dance videos. Several of our students have danced in productions at Disneyland, on cruise lines, and even the
Radio City Rockettes in New York City.
We celebrated our 23rd annual dance performance
in June of 2008. Encore's shows are themed based and our productions are similar in quality, techinque
and professionalism to a broadway musical theater performance.
We
offer intensive workshops during the summer months to allow our students to further strenghthen their dance
training . These workshops are taught by top dancers, teachers and choreographers in the field of
dancing, singing, acting and musical theatre. These additional workshops allow our students to gain more knowledge
and experience in different styles of dance.
